Dan and Briana met in 2007 while each was in their master's program.  Briana was studying art therapy at Albertus Magnus College; Dan was studying counseling at Southern Connecticut State University.  We met on a Friday night, had our first date on a Sunday, and have been together ever since.  In seventeen years (as of 2024), we have experienced so much, both together and as individuals.

We have always wanted to help heal others, and there have been many, many times when we needed healing as well.  We have worked through job losses, career changes, parenting struggles, deaths, relationship ruptures, major medical ordeals, and, like all of you, two years of trauma from the Covid-19 pandemic.  We have been patients of extensive medical care, and clients of wonderfully supportive therapists. (Yes, even therapists have therapists!)

We each run private psychotherapy practices.  Dan can be found at New Voyage Counseling, and Briana and her team can be found at Art and Soul Art Therapy.  While both of our private practice therapy businesses are thriving, with the extensive trauma that we experienced for four years since 2020, we wanted to do a little more for the world.  

In January 2024, we returned from a profound professional training, in Costa Rica for Authenticity Therapy.  Reflecting that we had come full circle in our own healing, we decided to create a space where the best treatments could be offered to others.

We have healed many people in our therapy practices.  But perhaps more importantly, we have felt the deepest pains and worked towards healing ourselves.

The future looks bright for those of us who have suffered.  We are seeing ancient philosophies merging with modern technologies.  The result?  Deep, lasting release from pain that may have existed since childhood.
