About The Instructor: Hi! I'm Jami and feeling blessed to be a part of this healing team. I wear what seem to be a lot of "hats," but really they are all part of the spiritual umbrella I use and share with others. Ever since I was young I've had a special relationship with Spirit, and that deepened as I grew older. Though I followed one path as a writer and educator for most of my adult life, the path that I've been called to now is holistic healing. I trained as a Reiki Master with William Rand, whose lineage (and therefore mine) descends directly from the modern founder of Reiki, Usui Sensei. In addition to offering Reiki, I support and coach people who feel imprisoned by substance use addiction and want to start or continue their journey to recovery and beyond. Recovery is an ongoing process that can feel rough and rocky at first, but it gets better and over time and with a dash of willingness, you will notice a transformation in your life like you wouldn't believe. (But do believe it.) In addition to these "hats," I specialize in emotional intelligence coaching and serve as a spiritual companion to seekers of all faith traditions or no faith tradition, to those identifying as spiritual, to the curious, and to the rest. I consider myself a spiritual pluralist and practice many forms of spirituality myself. All of my work with clients is trauma-sensitive.
